Blocks in the flow of qi can occur however, usually as a result of stresses and poor environmental and lifestyle factors. These blocks upset the flow and in doing so upset the body’s balance, making your body more susceptible to disease and illness.
One of the oldest forms of health care today, acupuncture is a form of traditional Chinese medicine that can be traced back over 2,000 years ago. Treatments involve inserting fine, sterile, disposable needles into specific acupuncture points along the body’s energy pathways in order to clear energy blocks and encourage the flow of Qi throughout your body, helping to restore your body’s balance.
